Cabbage is one of the most underrated vegetables. It's Low Carb, super nutritious, generally available year round, keeps in the fridge for weeks and weeks, and if cooked properly it's super delicious. I love it raw shaved into salads or 'slaw.

It’s funny how ideas come and go. Years ago I created a Zucchini Burger recipe and was super excited about veggie burgers that actually contained vegetables. At the time I was keen to try a broccoli burger.
Years ago I created a super easy tray bake with root veg and sausages that I called the ‘Magic’ Sausage Supper.
We are incredibly blessed to have 2 small boys in the house. And I especially love the challenge of inspiring them to become vegetable lovers like their Mama.

For years this raw broccoli salad with avocado and almond was my favourite. Although it was quite labour intensive to chew. And I was finding that it was getting difficult to digest as well.
Balsamic vinegar is such as magical ingredient. Especially with these sausages and cabbage.

So I got the idea to turn a baked frittata into a pie from someone on Instagram.
So the other day I had a hankering for a big bowl of lentil and sausage soup. But I didn’t really want all the lentil carbs and I had 1/2 a cauliflower which needed eating up.
OMG even if you’re not a sausage fan – spicy or otherwise, you have to try this broccoli ‘hummus’. While it’s completely nontraditional, it is soo soo delicious. Use it anywhere you’d normally serve hummus.
Growing up the only time I ate cauliflower was when my mum smothered it in a creamy cheesy sauce. Really I was all about the sauce and left behind most of the cauli. If you had told me back then that cauliflower would one day be one of my favourite vegetables, I would never have believed you.
